I haven’t had a lot of exciting progress to report lately, except for a feeling that I’m getting older. I know, I’m only 24, but the late nights that I used to be able to pull without a hitch the next morning just a few years ago are no more.
Why do I mention this?

Me, Brian Robertson of Suburban Legends, and my sister at the show
Because I went to a ska show with my sister this weekend (The Maxies, Suburban Legends, Big D and the Kids Table, and REEL BIG FISH!!! AHHHH!!!!). And I’m still aching. I mean, my neck and shoulders are especially sore from some mild head-banging (if there is such a thing).
WHO DOES THAT?
This girl. Right here.
So yeah, beat myself up at a ska show, and it didn’t even have anything to do with the 2 laps I did in a circle pit. Or the tug-o-war I played with my sister as she attempted to drag me into the big pit to go crowd surfing. My arm was the rope. But I did break a sweat. So I guess it’s justified…
Yeah, right, it’s justified because it was Reel Big Effing Fish and Suburban Legends. But the nap I took the next day was epic.
Anyway, I guess that’s one way to get your heart pumping, but I think I’ll let it remain a special treat kinda cardio session.

Isn’t it funny how like the second we have kids we can no longer do things like we use to?! I feel like that all the time! Glad you got to have a night out though :)
Sounds like an exhausting but fun week. Tug of war especially. I hear with the getting old bit.. i feel the same way..
Have a great week
I know that the title of your post is a Suburban Legends song because I am awesome. :)
I wish I could have gone to the show. They shouldn’t have planned their tour when I was due to have a baby!
glad you had fun at the concert, no clue who that band is lol have an awesome week
