I know that out here there are TONS of clubs where cover includes lessons (and cover is really low - like $10 and under low), plus there's open dancing afterwards. I have my doubts that the salsa scene is as big in the midwest, but then again, the East Coast is like, hot ballroom HQ. I wish I could say getting up from the slide is super glamorous, but that's a transition into a tango section, so the girl gets picked up by her partner and led around the back. The concept of the whole routine is WAY fun, and you can definitely anticipate clips of the whole piece soon. :) It is a blast- just do it!
